I knew I had a blog, I knew I totally stunk at actually posting! This morning I accidentally found my blog. D'uh! To use a favorite phrase of my former students, I suck at blog posting! But I am regaining control of certain aspects of my life and I may try this again.
In July of 2016, I trained to get off my butt and volunteer as a Guardian ad Litem with the court system. I currently have an active case as well as a courtesy visit file for Franklin County.
During 2016, I did a good job of finishing quilts! Two wall size, one couch size, a queen for Brian, twin sizes for Ryker and Trent! Poor Georgia, hers is still awaiting being finished quilting wise. Kim and Zack's quilt needs trimming and binding. Andrea's needs borders carefully measured and sewn on. With Karen's surgery this coming July, I am not sure that it will get quilted this year unless I quilt by check! I also made, quilted and finished quilts for Kai Jo a baby quilt version of Simply Woven and a oversize twin tee shirt quilt for Lauren.
And if I ever figure out how to post pictures I will share. Meanwhile I am working on a QOV and a baby quilt. Hope to not be away as long!
